I would suggest going and attempting manual validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate  and see what happens
If it passes, fine, just reboot, run MGADiag again, and post the new report.
If it fails, you should be offered the Diagnostics - follow the instructions there, and once you get 'all green', try validation again. The reboot, run MGADiag again, and post the report together with the details of what was flagged as the problem.

For what version and edition of Windows is the computer licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case?

What EXACTLY does it say about the Product Key?

  • Its odd it activated fine and received updates, I am pretty sure it did wga on one of the updates and passed then, i think when it downloaded ie8 (maybe??)
    It says
Enter a genuine Windows product key.
The product key used to activate Windows on your PC is not a valid Microsoft product key. Not to worry, we can help you with that.

    Then under troubleshoot...

Microsoft product keys contain 25 characters divided into groups of five, and are located on the proof of license label attached to your DVD case or on a Certificate of Authenticity attached to your PC. In general, the rule to remember is one to one – in most cases, one product key can be used to activate one copy of Windows. So if you’ve already used a Windows product key to activate Windows running on one PC, you can’t use that same product key to activate Windows on another PC. If you haven’t previously used your product key to activate Windows on another PC but you still can’t use it to activate Windows on this PC, then it’s possible that you may have inadvertently acquired counterfeit Windows from an unreliable source (how can I tell?).

It is important to buy only genuine Windows either directly from Microsoft or from a trusted reseller. If you suspect that you’ve inadvertently acquired counterfeit Windows from an unreliable source, you can tell Microsoft about it and view special offers for purchasing genuine Windows on the “Buy genuine Windows” tab on this page.

That was the phrase I was looking for - MGADiag has got a minor bug that can flag Keys as non-genuine when they are not, but your Key appears not to be genuine.
You should try using the Product Key Update tool to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/help/genuine/product-key

If that's the case, then you have a very strange installation as the COA Sticker is only for OEM installs - and your Key is apparently a Retail one.
Give the Update tool a whirl anyhow - it may be able to fix things.
