Can Visual Explorer Display more than 2 Levels of Relationships? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    So far, the Visual Explorer seems to only display relationships up till 2 levels deep. For example:

    [John] -->  [Tom] --> [Michael]

    Is it possible for Visual Explorer to display more levels? E.g. for the USPresident sample, to display all the presidents with the 'Succeeded by' and 'Prceeded by' relationships.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

    You can change this value in the web.config file of the Visual Explorer site.

    1) Open the config file C:\Program Files (x86)\Zentity\ZentityWebSite\VisualExplorer\web.config.

    2) you can change the values in the

    <appSettings>

    <!--

    Depth of the relations to be shown by the VisualExplorer-->
    <
    add key="MaxRelationDepth" value="2"

    />

    <!--

    Maximum number of subject nodes to be traversed within graph-->
    <
    add key="MaxSubjectNodeCount" value="30"

    />

    <!--

    Maximum number of object nodes to be traversed within graph-->
    <
    add key="MaxObjectNodeCount" value="30"

    />

    <appSettings>

    Please let me know if this helps you.
