Windows 7 Build 7600 - This Copy of Windows is not Genuine.

Question
-
Hi,I have had Windows 7 installed on my computer for about a month, and just recently had this error message (0xC004C008) which says that my product key did not register. I got both the Full version of Windows 7 Pro (not an upgrade only copy) through my university along with the product key. I need Windows to work for a class, so it would be great to get this resolved. Any and all help is appreciated!Thank you for your time,AdamSunday, February 28, 2010 5:22 AM

Have you tried reactivating it? Not an expert at reading these logs but it looks like it may just need to be activated again. Sometimes what happens is for whatever reason the key is installed but never activated. While windows may be installed with a valid key if it doesn't activate after 30 days you are going to get validation messages.
Navigate to system properites either through he control panel or by rightclicking on computer in the start menu and selecting properties, scroll to the bottom and click on activate now where it displays the activation information.

Try the Phone Activation again.
This time do not enter anything into the Phone Prompt. This will force the Phone Prompt to transfer you to a Live Activation Rep who should be able to assist you in the Activation Process.
Thank you,

In order for us to analyze and troubleshoot a non-genuine notification issue you may be experiencing, please download and run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostics Tool.
After running the tool, click on the Continue button, then click on the Copy button, then Paste the report into your post. Also, please include a brief question or pertinent background information that would be helpful in our endeavor to assist you.
Thank you!

Thank you for the fast response!
I ran the tool and for some reason it says that my code is Invalid, I was pretty sure that I typed the code in properly when I registered my computer for the first time.
Background: I am Running Windows 7 on my BOOTCAMP dual booted MacBook Pro which reaches all standards stated by Apple and Windows. I loaded Windows 7 for use with Microsoft Access, which is part of a class I am taking.

S. Edd is correct. Windows is reporting that is it not Activated.
Try to Activate over the internet, If you get any error, try by Phone instead.
Thank you,
