  • Question

  • Hi, I have cleared my MCTS 70 515. Now I would like to do some more certifications

Which one should I opt? I have a very grounded knowledge wrt Web services, not feeling so confident to attempt 70 513.

  • Yes, this is a good one; SQL Development is quite useful if you are a developer of business applications.

Be warned that 70-433 is not an easy exam. It requires in-depth knowledge of the new features in version 2008 (such as the MERGE statement), as well as knowledge of "internal" features that you wouldn't normally manage during the course of developing an application (such as setting the fill factor for indexes or creating statistics).

  • Well, since you have obtained the MCTS on Web Development, you may wish to advance into the MCPD:Web Developer. This requires three additional exams: 70-513 (WCF), 70-516 (Data) and 70-518 (PRO). Both 70-513 and 70-516 will give you an MCTS certification after you pass them. 70-518 will give you the MCPD only after you have passed the three MCTS exams. If you don't feel confident about 70-513, you may choose to tackle 70-516, which is mainly about Entity Framework.

  • Great to hear from you. Thanks for help.

How about taking MCTS 70 433. As I am proficient in SQL SERVER Development. Any Suggestions on this?
