    LiveOneCare in my VistaHome shows the Firewall as being ON.

    The HP Total Care Advisor shows it as being OFF. My HP Vista Home Premium came installed with the same firwall icon. Are both programs talking about the same  firewall?  LiveOne seems to be turning off the HP one. Should I just ignore  the HP side as long as I am subscribed to the LiveOneCare (or vice versa), should both be ON, or what is the correct thing to do?

    The HP total advisor is apparently unaware of the OneCare firewall. The Windows Firewall, which you can see in the Security Center, is turned off by OneCare as the OneCare firewall takes over.
