CRM 2013 Queues vs CRM 2011 Queues (workflows failing) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have three questions.

First of all is it possible for a lead  to be in two different queues?  Has this changed in 2013 vs 2011?

Secondly, how do I add to a queue in CRM 2013 manually?  I have looked at the form but see no obvious place to add a lead to a queue.

Thirdly (and most importantly), my workflows fail giving this message when trying to add leads to queues:

"The record specified cannot be added to a queue.  This record type is not enabled for use in queues."

It worked fine in crm 2011.  How is it enabled?

  • Hello,

    1. Yes.

    2. Recheck following screenshot:

If you don't have this menu item in menu that means that you haven't activated queues for this type of entity. Recheck point 3.

    3. Open CRM, Settings, Customizations, Customize System. Open entity you want to give possibility to be attached to queue, check correspond checkbox save and publish:
