  • Question

  • Hi, I studied MCITP about 2 years ago and I would like to know if there is a way to set up my virtual machines as they are in the labs?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

First off, congratulations on your new job!

Microsoft does not generally make classroom virtual machines available outside of class due to licensing issues. As per Danny's point, if you outline what you need in terms of virtual machines, or if you provide the course number, we may be able to help you find what you need.

Also, Microsoft has online virtual labs here:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/virtuallabs/bb467605.aspx

You might be able to find an environment that will allow you to reinforce your skills.

  • Hi Ruan,

It will be very difficult to rebuild the virtual setup you used in the class room labs. You will need specific information about how many VM's you need and what the specific roles and configuration was on the VM's you used.

What is the purpose of the virtual setup you want to build and for what MCITP certfication?

  • I just want to recap everything I did in class. Like I said, I studied this 2 years ago and only found a job now where I will need to implement this in my work environment. So I dont want to walk in there and seem completely clueless.
