SSRS RPC server not available RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    Question - we are having trouble installing the Reporting Extensions (SSRS connector) on one of our boxes. It used to exist on another box, but we are moving it. We get an error in the environment check section: "The RPC server is unavailable".

    Environment:
    CRM 2013 SP1 UR3
    2 x Front End Servers (balanced)
    2 x Back End Servers
    1 SQL

    SSRS 2012 has been installed on the SQL (was on one of the back end boxes and working fine). I'm now trying to install the SSRS connector on the SQL and this is where the error is occurring.

    NB: I've checked that the RPC service is running on the SQL box (and all other boxes), and it is.

  • Are you able to navigate out to the report server URL and does the installing user you have domain admin privileges or at least system admin on the sql and report server db?
