Portfolio Analyses - what's the name of the specific fields? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
I am looking for some fields and can’t find them. I have modified start date in Portfolio Analyses. When I commit that change I am told that project constraint data will not automatically be overwritten, but the selection will be written to specific fields available in projects and project views. What is the name of these specific fields? I would like to make them available in some views.

    Thanks in advance
    Barbara

  • Catalin is right. The project level fields are below. They can be added to any Project Detail Page or to Project Center.

Committed Planned End Date   - Commited end date in 'Resource Constraint Analysis'
Committed Planned Start Date   - Commited start date in 'Resource Constraint Analysis'

Committed Portfolio Selection Decision (Cost)   - whether the project was selected or not in 'Cost Constraint Analysis'
Committed Portfolio Selection Decision (Schedule)   - whether the project was selected or not in 'Resource Constraint Analysis'

Committed Portfolio Selection Decision Date (Cost) - when the project was committed in 'Cost Constraint Analysis'
Committed Portfolio Selection Decision Date (Schedule) - when the project was committed in Resource Constraint Analysis'

  • The fields you're probably looking for are Planner Decision, Planner Decision Date, Planner Start Date (or New Planned Start Date), Planner End Date (or New Planned End Date).

  • Thanks to both of you! Sorry for answering that late, there were some days off in Austria!
It seems that I skipped "c" when looking for these fields, the name is quite descriptive?

One additional question: Am I correct that these fields cannot be used in formulas? I receive "This formula contains references to one or more fields that do not exist in the system. Correct the formula and try again" when I use the specified field names.
