Integrating Java with CRM 2011 Online (with Office 365) RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a requirement to integrate a Java web front-end with CRM 2011 Online (with Office 365). Information entered through the Java website needs to be created as Lead records in CRM Online.

Has anyone successfully connect from Java to CRM 2011 Online (with Office 365)?

There is a Microsoft's walkthrough here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj602979.aspx, but we encountered an issue similar to one reported here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13517495/microsoft-crm-java.

  • I had a similar problem, but I'm in PHP. The sample code provided in the walk through doesn't work any longer. What I ended up doing was downloading XrmToolBox from here http://xrmtoolbox.codeplex.com/. When I had that up and running, I ran fiddler to watch the web requests that it makes during login.

Once I knew where it was sending traffic and what the data looked like, I duplicated in my code.

I can update later if you want to see the XML that applied to my specific situation.

  • This post is specific to PHP, but should get you what you need.
