    The only problem that I can see with this report is that the installation has not been activated.
    Have you attempted to activate it? Over the phone or by Internet?

  • I have tryed but the activation programe states that I have miss typed my key. After many attempts I submited the above. Do you want me to post the PC make, model and windows key in here?

    The partial Key in use here is one that has been well-published over the internet, and would have been blocked by MS, except for the fact that it is what is known as a Default/Keyless Install Key
    Another person posted with a very similar problem - please read the following thread...
    Do you have a COA Sticker on your PC? If so, for what Version and Edition of XP is it valid?
     
    If it's for XP Pro, then you may be able to change the key using the Product Key Update Utility - look here
