Updating Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition

  I was running Secunia PSI and it stated, that I needed to update two obscure programs that I never heard of! The first was Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition? So, I clicked on it and it took me to the main SQL Server site and wanted me to try it for free? But then, I searched some more and found that Microsoft is no longer supporting updates for the 2005 edition! They want me to download the 2014 edition.

  So my question is, should I remove the 2005 Compact Edition before updating to the 2014 Edition or just leave the 2005 Edition alone and just go ahead and update the 2014 Edition? Thank you.
