What do I need to to to get my MCSE NT 4.0 certification up to the current version? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I earned my MCSE NT 4.0 in 2001. What is the current / equivalent version of that designation? And, what exams do I need to pass to bring my certification up to date?

  • The closest modern equivalent to the old MCSE on NT4 is probably the MCSE:Server Infrastructure:

Although there are more variants that you can see from the MCSE certification page.

Unfortunately, the upgrade exams from your version have already been retired, so you will need to start afresh and take all the new exams (five in total) that are needed to gain the new MCSE.
