Cant access control panel/system properties/any windows things basically RRS feed

  • Indeed, why, im not too sure, was getting "Windows is not Genuine" on the lowers right of the desktop, but managed to get rid of that via posts on different threads with similar problems. Had for a few months although unused because was supposed to be christmas gift... Came with Vista Home already installed. Basically iv ran outa ideas to try get it to work so any help would be nice.

      Your Diagnostic Report shows your Vista as Genuine and does not show any other problems.

     

    I have a feeling that this is a general Windows issue and not related to Windows Genuine Advantage (it just seemed to happen around the same time as your non-Genuine issue) But to make sure, I suggest creating a (no cost) WGA support request at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52029. If it turns out to not be related to WGA, they will foward you on to Vista support group.
