installation of cnnection software fails

Question
-
Previously Home Server 2011 was installed and connection software was working producing backups on my 5 other computers. I had a server hardware failure and had to rebuild the server from scratch. Now I have the Home Server 2011 running and connection software installed and working fine on 4 machines. But one machine (the 5th) starts the install and nearly finishes (bar just about complete) but stops and uninstalls. I've removed the old connection software and there appears to be nothing available from the new effort to remove. Did the troubleshooter which as no help.
I'm stumped. Suggestions?

Hi,
Would you please let me know what is the OS version of the client machine that failed to install the Connector software? When the installation process was canceled, have you received any error? At this time, I suggest we could try to refer to the following similar threads to see if it could help.

Andy,
Seems I've been able to fix the problem. I did a search for all folders named "Windows Server" and deleted them. As you might expect, they were on the C drive (OS drive). Cleaned the registry. A new install worked.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
