    Is it possible?  See title.

     

    I want to install SyncToy 2.0 on a rig(Vista Business, 32 bit), but I do NOT want that machine to be connected to the internet at all--under any circumstances.  During the install, SyncToy gave me an error message, saying that it needed to go online to dl a certain file!

     

    WTF.

     

    Is it possible to install SyncToy 2 on a Vista rig without an internet connection?

     

    I have SyncToy 2 set up on another rig of mine--it has internet connection.  I have really grown to like it.

    Scratch my question.

     

    After I posted, I have since dled ST1.4 and successfully set it up on my 32 bit Vista Business rig.

     

    ST2.0, however, remains a no go in installation without an internet connection.

     

    ST1.4 does not work with Vista 64 bit; I totally forgot about that.

     

    However, it would be nice to allow ST 2.0 installed *WITHOUT* an internet connection.
