This Copy of Windows is not Genuine

Question
-
As of today (after extended periods of use and no mentioned update) I am receiving the "Windows 7 | Build 7601 | This copy of Windows is not genuine. Having looked through a number of other threads here it seems that each is dealt with differently and would like similar advisement. I have copied the MGAD Tool's output below. Thanks.

Press WinKey + Pause/Break and scroll to the bottom of the System Properties page. Click the link to Change Product Key and enter the product key printed on the label affixed to the case (or inside the battery compartment). Follow the instructions for phone activation. Do not try to enter the product key from your report. It is different and does not work manually.

BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes, but no SLIC table
Windows marker version: N/A
OEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: N/AThe SLIC table in your systems BIOS is unable to be read for self activation offline for some reason.
If you have recently attempted to update your system's BIOS version. This maybe the likely cause.
You can use the COA License serial located either on the bottom of the laptop or under the battery compartment to Phone activate your OS.Or you can try and update your BIOS version to the latest version 2.13 - Which can be found here and see if this fixes the reading of the SLIC table.

I have updated the BIOS to 2.13 and reran the diagnostic tool. I also bolded the section you referenced previously and nothing appears to have changed. If nothing has changed and phone activation is the next course of action, can you direct me to instructions for that. Thanks.

You need to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker – or reformat/reinstall using the manufacturer’s Recovery system. There is no way that you will get this Key activated on this motherboard in this install.

Thank you very much. Changing the product key to the one no the laptop's case allowed Windows to validate itself.
