  If you want to schedule it, you have to go outside of WHS.  You can use an app such as RoboCopy or SyncToy to backup your shares to a USB drive nightly.  You can't use typical backup programs such as NTBackup because all you will get is the tombstones, not the actual files.

  Someone else has already figured it out. A script has been developed which you can schedule via windows task scheduler. They even got encryption available if you are interested. Please take a look at Nicky Murphy's blog:
