windows mobile 6 .avi codecs RRS feed

  • Question

  •

i purchased a vzw xv6800 in december(i had to preorder mine i have a friend at the local store) i love the device. my biggest issue though is the lack of media compatibility i have about 5oo gb of avi files that i want to play on my xv6800. ranging from feature films to home movies. i need an application or codec that will enable me to watch said files on my device i would prefer just a codec not another application. if anyone has info on the availability of wm6 codecs it would be greatly appreciated.(yes i have read throught he other threads, but i am unconvinced) i really just want the codec so they will play in the native wmp on the device. short of this and the removal of pocket access i absolutely love this handheld. i would recommend it to any one over the iphone without a moments hesitation. please advise if you have any info that i would find of use. thanks in advance
