Exchange Client Access Server Computer Account RRS feed

  • I am going through the instructions to set up Exchange 07 SP2 with PS 2010 SP1 (+ June 2011 CU).


    Under 'To create a user account for an Exchange Client Access server, it reads:

    5. In the User Authentication section, select the Windows Authentication, using the Windows account option, and type the name of the Exchange Client Access server computer account in the User logon account box.


    I am not sure what exactly it means by Exchange Client Access server computer account.  I have tried the name of the exchange server (companyexchange), and the name of the exchanger server with domain (companydomain\companyexchange).  Both times I get the message:

    The resource could not be saved due to the following reasons: The NT account specified is invalid...

    Should I be entering another value in the User logon account field.
