What ports need to be open between SSRS and CRM? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been scouring the Planning Guide, but the information is not definitive.  Does anyone know which ports need to be open between the CRM app server and the server hosting SSRS?  My guess is whatever port the HTTP server in SSRS server is set to lisen on, but the CRM Connector throws uncertainty into the mix.

    Thanks

  • Network ports used by SQL Server running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting

  • I should have mentioned that I am installing CRM 2011.  K.H. I have seen that table, but the way I read that (it's pretty useless for firewall configuration) is those are the ports that the SSRS server needs to connect to the database.  I am looking for a definitive answer about CRM to SSRS.  I expect it's port 80 by default.

  • Hi Chris,

    SQL Server: 1433, 80

CRM Server: if its default 80 or manual 5555 or any other which you have defined while installing CRM Server.

  • I think the 5555 would be the port between the user and CRM.  I am trying to track down the server-server traffic between CRM and SSRS.  From what I understand, users do NOT connect directly to SSRS, but are proxied through CRM's report viewer control.
