    I would like to register my free trial of Windows Live OneCare, but I don't own a credit card, nor do I know anyone who has one. But I really like the services of Windows Live. How else may I register my free trial?

    OneCare requires a credit card for online purchase. You can, however, purchase OneCare from a retailer (or an online retailer) and activate using the retail product key.

    I don't know if a subscription can be purchased without a credit card but one possible solution would be to purchase a pre-paid credit card. Since this post is not off topic I will move it to the Install and Activate folder where it may be seen by someone who might have a better answer.
