Spell Check Portuguese RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey dude.

Is possible to enable spell check to portuguese language? I've already configured language to pt-BR but it doesn't work. When I set to en-US it works fine. Anyone has any idea of how can I enable spell check to pt-BR language?

  • I believe that for Vista and later that they are part of the Optional Updates at Windows Update.  For XP, you have to get something called the Multilingual User Interface (MUI) pack which is a seperate add on.  Not entirely sure because all of my expereince is with the actual foreign language version of the OS.  Here is a FAQ about MUI: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb688178.aspx.

  • Eliezer,

The spell check is multilingual.  The only requirement is that you have the language pack installed for the language that you want to spell check.
