I have to reinstall CRM 3.0 on a new hardware. I connect to the existing DB in the same doamin. During setup I mark to create a new website.

All the checks are green, the log files does not show any error, but the CRM website is not created in the IIS.

The env: W2003Std, IIS6, WindowsUpdate was running.

I use the latest CRM 3.0 install kit.

    Thanks, Miklós

  • Hi Miklos

I am having the same issue.  I did a full install of CRM 3.0 but no website is created, I tried both default and custom site and neither works.

I have installed CRM 3.0 more times than I can count and never had this issue.  I am in the process of doing a redeployment for an upgrade to CRM 4.0.

I did as you suggested and uninstalled CRM, uninstalled IIS, rebooted, reinstalled IIS, reinstall CRM and still no website.

Do you recall doing anything else unique?

What service pack were you running on Windows 2003?  Just wondering if that has anything to do with it.

    Thanks!

    Nick
