    I believe only a sample group were selected for the year subscription.

    Click on the FAQ page link in your posted message. This is the first I heard of this program and this offer. It doesn't end until October 15, 2007 per the FAQ. So, if you are in the trial program, and have not left it, you will be notified about your free subscription after Ocober 15th.
