I installed a 32 bit version of crm on a 64 bit OS. Its working, we are not in production yet and all that I have done is apply Rollup 9. Should I uninstall and reinstall?Friday, March 12, 2010 4:48 PM

If it were me and I planned to take the application into production, I would wipe the machine and start over just to ensure there were no remnants of the CRM application on the machine. That's just me and I generally tend to error on the side of caution. For me, it is not worth the potential risk of any future issues for a production machine.

I would also recommend to start over again, and to install the 64bit version.Messing around with 32 and 64 bit processes on the same machine is possible, but it is not that funny in daily business (debugging, customizing, ...)

We also had to install SQL Server on the CRM Server as a temporary fix. When we move the DB to our SQL Cluster, I'll rebuild the front end at that time.
Thanks.- Marked as answer by OHMEGA Friday, March 12, 2010 7:23 PM
