Computers Offline or Sleeping RRS feed

    I have 4 computers on network and also have windows home server on the same network.  Till 2 days ago, all computers were accessible through WHS.  However, since this weekend, 3 show Offline or Sleeping while one computer is active and is being backed up as it should.  Tried to restart the WHS and network computers but in vain!

    All the 4 machines are running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

    Need your help.  Please advise!

    Hi there,

    Have any of the PC's had a network card update recently?, it's possible they have been updated and the settings have been lost.

    It's also worth installing something to wake the PC's up remotely from the server using magic packets, there are plenty of options available if you google/bing it. You must make sure that the magic packets are enabled and that the PC's can't disable the network card in sleep/hibernate mode.
