OneCare installation could not complete Error ID: 0020-80070643 RRS feed

  • I am trying to set up my new qwest internet and software.  I received this message and was told to contact you.  Please advise.

  • this issue can be caused by previous installation which has not been removed completely.

    we can run onecare cleanup tool and then reinstall onecare from the site.

    cleanup tool:

    This is a community forum, not support. That means that other customers can help and we moderators, who are also customers and volunteer here, generally provide guidance and answer when we can.

     

    Qwest was incorrect - they support your installation and if they cannot resolve it, they can escalate to Microsoft's OneCare support, not you. Yes, the forums are always an option, but Qwest provides support for your free subscription to OneCare.
