  • Hello Sergidanti,

You may have paid for Office 2007 Small Business Edition, but your mgadiag report shows that Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 is now installed and it was installed with a blocked Volume Licensing Key.

Getting Genuine may be as simple as uninstalling Office 2007 Enterprise, restarting the computer, and then using your genuine hologrammed Microsoft Office CDs to install Office 2007 Small Business.  After installing Office 2007 Small Business, restart, then visit www.microsoft.com/genuine and click the Validate Office button.

Don't forget to run Microsoft Updates to get the newly released Office Service Pack 2 updates.

  • Thanks, Dan at IT, BUT:

I,ve downloaded my Office 2007 Small Business from the Official Microsoft web.
Thats why I don't understand that it is not validated...

And, if I uninstall the old Office... Will I conserve all the documents?
    This is my dubt...

    Thanks for your answers

  • Hello Sergidani,

The uninstallion program for Office is not designed to remove documents located in your My Documents folder, and if you are using Outlook, it is not designed to remove your email stored on the computer.

However, it is always a good idea to back up your valuable documents and email on a regular basis, and of course whenever making major changes to your computer.

Looking at your mgadiag report, there is no evidence that Office Small Biz has been installed on the computer--the only Office that is showing is Office Enterprise 2007.

If you uninstall Office Enterprise, restart twice, then install Office Small Biz, you should be fine.
