does CRM Dynamics Online version still need apply every Update RollUp manually? RRS feed

  • Question

  • ask a "beginner" question: do we need to do that?

If so, why MS does that automatically to my account?

    Thanks,

  • CRM Online updates are applied automatically and to all customers.  I would imagine this is done because each customer's organization is in a shared environment with many others and there isn't a way to apply updates to just selected organizations. Keep in mind that if you are using the Outlook plugin you would need to apply your your own updates on the local client machines.

  • For the major updates my understanding is Microsoft give customers a period (12 months from memory) to delay upgrading.
