I'm really see that you expect so much of us the common people. This article is really technical and by the way I can install Office 2007 Standar Version. I just can´t download new things because the genuine tool suspect that I've illegal software.

I'm afraid if I try to do that -remove my preloaded Studen version- also remove de Standar version. Also the article alerts about modify the registry that sounds a dangerous task to me.

I think Microsoft has really very smart people inside the company. So the easy way is to fix the bug in the original tool  web application. If this tool recognizes my case - a case that is started to be very popular among an increasing number of users- we -the common people- can enjoy the benefits of our legal software. Don't you think so?  There's some time schedule to fix this bug?
