CRM 2013 and RibbonWorkbench2013_2_0_0_7_managed->The "Select Solution to Open" list is always empty RRS feed

    Greetings,

    I've installed RibbonWorkbench2013_2_0_0_7_managed on my CRM 2013 UR2 organization.

    The problem is that the "Select Solution to Open" list is always empty as shown in the screenshot below:

    Ribbon Workbench Select Solution to Open list is always empty.

    I have a number of solutions and I expect that I get at least the default system solution.

    How can I fix this problem?

    Ok, here is the answer, in case someone land here by search engines.

    I got the answer from the author Scott Durow himself. I posted the question here

    Here is his answer:

    Scott: The Ribbon Workbench will only open unmanaged solutions – do you have only managed solutions?

    Me: So I always need to create an unmanaged solution, add an entity. Then ribbon workbench can change the ribbons belong to entities inside the unmanaged solution and changes will be saved inside the same unmanaged solution. Correct?

    Scott: Yes – you’ve got it!

    That is strange, hard to tell for sure.  I would check with Scott at Develop 1 and see if he can help.  He's always been very responsive when I have sent questions to their support email.
