I know this is a ridiculous question, but one of our departments is flooding us with "work orders" regarding ocs response groups.
The department keeps changing their communicator presence to busy, but they never change it back to "reset status" . The problem with this is, they think that OCS isnt working, because they dont receive any incoming calls and the reason for
that is their OCS presence. The response group wont send calls to agents that has a busy presence.
We told them the last 3 months to click on reset status on communicator. Even after warnings they still "forget" to click on reset status.
Now I know you cant block users to change their presence manually, because OCS was build that way.
Cant we use the sdk package perhaps or another way to block users so that communicator uses the machine state, rather then the user state?
If we can accomplish that, the department will stop bugging us. :)
