  • What was your original problem that has been resolved?  What number did you use to contact Microsoft?  What were you sent to resolve the problem and what did you have to do?  I have a valid copy of Windows XP Home Edition installed in my PC 4 years ago which has suddenly been filled with messages indicating that it is not genuine?  It has disabled Internet Explorer on that PC as well.   Is this the same problem you had?
