  • Question

  • Hi All

Currently we are facing an issue with our Email router setup where by we are trying to test our access to a forwarding mailbox but we are getting the  following error message.

Incoming Status: Failure - The remote Microsoft Exchange e-mail server returned the error "(404) Not Found". This user or queue does not have a mailbox.

The inbox was migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 some time back.

I have had a look on this forum and google for a specific resolution but I can't find one for Exchange 2010, I was wondering if any one might be able to help?

    Regards

    Charles

  • Have you updated your configuration profiles in the email router tool to point to the new Exchange Server?

What URL are you using on your Incoming profile? It should be something like https://mail.domain.com/ews/exchange.asmx   <--this will probably be the URL you use for OWA. Make sure you can hit this URL with no certificate errors/warnings.

  • Hi Charles,

Are the users already login to their mailbox after migration? This will enable the user to activate their mailbox after login
