CRM 2011 Mail merge is not working for some computer RRS feed

  • We have created a Mail merge template on a custom entity. We are able to run it when we are in CRM for Outlook, but not in the web client (and not for everybody). Any thought?

    Other computer are able to run the mail merge in the web client, but cannot save as a CRM activity.

    We tried to enable Macro but it didn't resolve the issue.

  • Mail Merge is only supported through on a computer with the Outlook plugin, and better is done directly through Outlook.  You need the plugin to make that data connection for you reliably.  For those that have issues, do you have errors in the Activity log?  Have they been updated to UR3 for the Outlook Client?  Is the Outlook Client fully patched?
