How to cache credentials on HPC 2008? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

What method should i use to cache my users credentials programatically?

On CCSApi (v1) i used SetCachedCredentials() but i'm not finding that function on HPC 2008?

PS: is there any way to get a list of cached users (or simply ask for a job to run as a given user without specifying the password - IF the REAL user connecting to the scheduler is an admin off course)?

    Thanks,
    Luis Silva

  • The SetCachedCredentials member is available from: Microsoft.ComputeCluster.Cluster. This and other v1 classes are exposed from Ccpapi.dll.

  • Thanks for your reply.

    But isn't ccsapi.dll the API for v1?

Is ccsapi.dll shipped with HPC2008? I didn't see it anywhere so i'm still using the 2003 version (which seems to be almost fully retrocompatbile)!

    Thanks!
