Windows vista home premium to ultimate? RRS feed

  •  if i want to have Vista Ultimate installed on the current PC with VHP, all I need to do is to change the product key and then I have Vista Ultimate?

    It’s not quite that easy – unless you have the Anytime Upgrade option.
    For other license types, you would nee to do an upgrade install, starting the install from within windows.

  • Unfortunately, Windows Vista editions are no longer sold by Microsoft.  You would be much better off upgrading to an edition of Windows 7.  Download and run the Windows  7 Upgrade Advisor.
