MSCRM 2010 Solution Issue

  Following is the scenario:

   

   

  Customer has customized value of one of the options for Lead Source field. For Example, he has changed Advertisement value to 110 from 1.

  Now, whenever I release a solution, it will go with default values for the options above, as in my solution I don't have any changes for this field. When customer installs this solution, his customizations are overwritten by default values and he loses his changes.

   

  Is there any setting or a way by which I can stop my solution from overwriting his customizations? Is there any way to remove this field from the solution?
