  • I want to use a computer that i currently have hooked up to my tv and surround sound to back up files. It currently is running windows xp and i stream hulu
    and use itunes mostly on it. If i install windows home server on the computer will i still be able to stream hulu and listen to music through my sound system with it?

  • Windows Home Server isn't designed to substitute for the home theater/multimedia PC you currently have, no.

    you could but why make it dificult if it can be done with media center ?? the home server could be used as a nas router and storage center like a second pc

    fujitsu has some nice solutions , fujitsu-siemens has a few comps you might like , they are made especially for what you want
