Dial Pad does not seem to work RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I am using MOC as my main phone at this point, and have seen that in most cases the dial pad doesn't work with most public auto attendant systems. So when calling any number that requires me to enter an extension, or to press "1" or "0" to get to another menu, it just doesn't work.

Is this a known issue, or is there a workaround that I am not aware of?

    Thanks,

    Tom

  • Turned out to be a DTMF issue at the gateway. We have a Cisco voice gateway router, and had to enable DTMF keep alive on the route in order for the dial pad to work.
