NETWORK ACESSED BY HACKERS HELP RRS feed

  • We have aprivate network at our Home, one is wireless and the I have two that is ethernet. We are having trouble with someone coming into our network and acesssing our pc. Whwn I did a one care scan ,I actually found a log where they had written to the file and disabled  one care, it then skipped about 13 files that needed to be scaned, The log is saying they are using remote netlogin,

     

    wiriting to the one care program, but it also has said they are Microsoft signed, I wanted the one care to try to stop this, I myself are being told not microsoft signed. And  False Idenity. The sad thing is I own these computers.HELP PLEASE!!

  • Naomi, please contact OneCare support for help in checking out your PCs to make sure they are not infected and help explain the log you found. It is normal for OneCare to skip files during scanning and I believe you found an entry that actually indicated that OneCare disabled the remote login, but support can review the logs for you.

  • I also have someone hacking in on my computer and no matter what I do I can't get rid of them.  Can someone please help me????  I  was using Mcafee.  I went out today and bought Onecare hoping that it would take care of the problem but they are still there???

    Why do you believe that someone is accessing your computer? I suggest that you contact OneCare support.
