Is my product illegal? Please help! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I've recently bought Windows 7 Ultimate on ebay. When I got it, it turned out that key was blocked. After visiting couple of web pages I realised that the software was probably illegal. I contacted the seller and he sent me another key which worked straight away. However I found suspected product id with 068. Could you please check it if the key is illegal? If it is I need to contact the seller as soon as possible. Please help. Thanks

  • Stop and consider.  Where would a seller legally get "spare" keys?  Not from Microsoft.
