There is no supported way to set up dual NICs on WHS.- Proposed as answer by kariya21Moderator Sunday, May 3, 2009 5:15 PM

There are two primary ways of using multiple NICs; neither is supported by Windows Home Server. The first would be to allow you to use your server as a router (i.e. Internet Connection sharing). The second is to "team" the nics so that they appear to the operating system as one. Routing isn't supported by Windows Home Server; you might be able to configure RRAS successfully, but frankly a cheap consumer router will do a better job.
Teaming your nics (assuming your drivers support it) is probably do-able, though it's still not supported. If your drivers don't support it I would recommend disabling one nic (preferably in the BIOS). Even if you can team your nics, performance improvements will be limited, because it's likely your server will be the only computer in your house with teamed nics.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)- Proposed as answer by kariya21Moderator Sunday, May 3, 2009 5:15 PM

The nic teaming was supported by my nic cards and nic teaming actually works with WHS. Thanks for the idea this works great.Sunday, May 3, 2009 10:11 PM
