Why does <Program Name>.vshost.exe keep running even after shutting down Visual Studio (only in SP1?) RRS feed

    I am using Visual Studio 2008 SP1.  Every project I open and run leaves a *.vshost.exe running in Task Manager.  Sometimes more than 1 for the same application.  Is this by design or do I need reinstall something.  I'm not sure but it may have been occurring since updating to Visual Studio SP1.
