Hard drive partitioning help RRS feed

    I have an internal hard drive with the following volumes:

    (D:), 79.16 GB, NTFS, Basic,

    (C:), 48.83 GB, NTFS, Basic Boot

    Free Space, 796.04 GB, Basic

    Primary Partition, 7.48 GB, Basic

    I need to extend the C: partition to include all, or most of the Free Space, to resolve space problems with normal operation due to limited space in the C: drive.  I think I recall being able to do this in the past, using disk management, but cannot recall how.  I hate to admit it, but my memory is not what it once was!

    Can anybody help?

    I'd ask in the Windows forum on Microsoft Community.
