What hosting Package do we need to purchase?

Question
-
Hi. I have not coded for a while, but I wanted to put back up a web page with some games that I wrote a several years ago using C# in visual studio.
So, I asked a few questions from a host in a chat window. They said that I need a VPS package. As I recall, that should not be necessary. When I wrote it, all I needed was a Windows platform instead of a Linux base.
My site won't get much traffic. I doubt anyone ever even visited it when it was up. Still, I want to be able to put it back and play around with it. I am looking at InterServer.com and possibly BlueHost.com. They have a ASPnet package that I think will do the job, but I thought that I should ask so I dont purchase what I can't use.
In the end, I plan for a Wordpress, MediaWIki, MS C# site, and maybe a few more. These are not going to be money makers, so I am looking at keeping the costs down.
InterServer has a Linix package (they suggested for the non coding pages), and an windows server package, and an AspNet package (InterServerLink). I'm not buying multiple packages. I am not sure the difference between the Windows and the AspNet one.
So, here, I bow to the wisdom of others.
Thanks
ScCrow

Hi ScCrow2,
According to your description, what do the packages to do for? Does it used to development ASP.NET website?
If yes, please consider to use Visual Studio. You could use Visual Studio to development ASP.NET website without pay for the packages. It is free.
Here is the link which could used to download the Visual Studio.

This sounds like a web hosting question. Please post your question in the web development forums.

Thx for the reply.
When I go back and work on it, I will use Visual studio. That is what I used to develop the web page and the games. The question was about the Web Hosting package.

Hi ScCrow,
You already know the answer. If you want to host .net site, it will better for you to purchase Windows Hosting.
