Controlling sequence element max occurs in XSD.Exe RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a schema with Sequence element whose max occurs value is defined as 30 . But when i generate the WSDL , it shows the max occurs property for the element shows as unbounded. When i referred microsoft on xsd tool, they say , its not possible to assign values to arrays using this tool.

Is there a way to define finite maxoccurs on sequence items in wsdl generated by .net using the xsd.exe to convert xsd to class.

  • Hi.

It seems you have two (2) choices.

    1. Search for another code gen tool that will create arrays.

    2. Simply write your own.

It appears you also asked this question in the Visual C# forum. Hopefully, you get a better answer there.

    Good luck!
