I can't validate my Windows XP Home Edition RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I own a genuine Windows XP Home Edition, which I got when I purchased my laptop (Compaq Presario 2800) back in 2003. The COA sticker is available underneath of the laptop. Also this genuing WinXP copy only used with this laptop.

    I did enjoy the WinXP for the last 4 years without any trouble. I reinstalled my laptop several occasions. Each time I managed to activate the WinXP successfully through internet.

    I reinstalled WinXP recently and tried activating it online. But this time it refuses to activate. I can't think why this happen so.

    Please help me to activate it. Diagnostic report is shown below.

  • If you cannot successfully activate via the internet, then choose the alternative option to "activate by phone". 

    The Activation Wizard displays the toll free number that you can dial.

    You can open the Windows Product Activation wizard by clicking Start, then Run, and type in "oobe/msoobe /a", then press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

    Also, your installed copy of Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage is non-genuine (Office Status: 114 Blocked VLK 2). You'll need to uninstall it, then visit a nearby store that sells computer software and purchase a genuine version of Microsoft Office.
