    anyone install it on virtual machine?  I have it on vmware esx server as guest, and having an issue with activating it, its telling me it cant' find the ocs r2 server in domain, when i have it setup and have myself and a couple folks on the new r2 front end server?  Any ideas, please help??????

    I have installed it on a guest on VMWare ESX server just fine, so as long as it's participating on the network properly (netdiag etc?) then that shouldn't be your issue. Windows Firewall / certificate / SPN issues?

    Is the network card of the guest VM (OCS 2007 R2) connected to a virtual switch that can reach the rest of the AD?

    all my problems were related to a new windows 2008 DC that was added to my domain. Once i ran forest prep again, everything is working fine.
